Memories....

It's been a while since i've updated my blog. Well last week, i saw a lion dance at work, ate sushi with colleagues and then i got sick and was MC on friday. My first MC for this year. Then on saturday, i just slept mostly during the day, then picked up my aunty and Sunday, i went out with Mas and Amie. One of my friends, he uploaded old class photos of our primary and secondary years on facebook... and it was both on my part embarrassing and funny... it makes you wonder what ever happened to all the other ppl that you don't keep in touch with. Some of us still look the same, some different, some married while others either single or attached. They were really good memories, i can honestly say that i really enjoyed and had loads of fun in my secondary 4-5 years... actually, it was one of the best times of my life... i missed those times =D))

Anywhoos... today we had a meeting at work. Yesterday, i had strong feelings that i was going to get shot down at this meeting. The meeting actually started at 4 but my officer and i only stepped in at 5. I thank god my officer only made me go in with her... i was so afraid of getting shot down because, i had no idea how i would react if it were to happen; i had two reactions in my head, 1. burst out in anger or 2. shut up, listen and keep to myself. My officer was there to fend for me if the occasion arises. The meeting turned out good, there were very good suggestion raised and yeah, i did not get shot down... hehehheeh... yes, i over reactede a lil'.... hehhehehe XP. Oh yeah... i'm too lazy to post up pics, maybe another day... bubyez <33

I drove alone today

Hellew.... Driving was ok today, except for that stupid kijang!!! hahahah... i had to brave through flood waters this morning and i had to park! My first time attempt at parking without any guidance... hahahahh... Driving back on the highway was ok and i finally managed to overcome my hill... hahahah... we will see how far this will go =D... hehheheheh I DROVE ALONE TODAY!!!!!! =D)) it's an accomplishment XP

How to be an extraordinary worker?

Hellew all.... i've had a crazy week at work, things at home are a bit sh*ty. Other than that all is good. Well, i got my TPM rating for 2008, this is when my line manager reviews & rates my performance at work for 2008 and this will determine how my bonus will be. i got an ok good rating and my line manager told me that i need to learn some new stuff this year which i could not last year. She also told me that i would have gotten a higher rating if i had learn that thing i was suppose to learn when i joined in the 3rd quarter of 2007. So for me to acheive that higher rating this year, i would have to be extraordinary at work. I repeat; E-X-T-R-A-O-R-D-I-N-A-R-Y... how the hell am i going to be an extraordinary worker? ok, i'm a bit blur so i googled it... i mean who knows right, someone might have put out a manual for dummies to be an extraordinary worker... hahahahh... sad to say i did not find the results i wanted, so if you know how to be an extraordinary worker, apart from taking on more tasks and responsibilities, please share with me... =D))

The were good comments, very encouraging and my manager's comments kept me grinning for at least a couple of hours at work because i want to really know what she meant when she wrote it. so here are the comments for u to judge. oh yeah, the comments are quoted word per word =P

"She has demonstrated a positive attitude. Well done and continue to support the challenging initiatives for 2009" - my line manager's comments

"Kel, you have always been cheerful & positive character which is your strength. You have coloured our team by your creative contributions, which we owe a big "Thank You" to. Blah Blah Blah (this part is work related). Great work in 2008!" - my manager's comments. In this context i am really curious as to how i coloured the team... Hmm~~ what do u think?

So yes, bonus... these comments affects the bonus. i got a good ok rating so i might get more than last year, hopefully, the bank was not making much muuunnnnney last year... so we are just anticipating. They keep telling us, it won't be as much as last year. To me something is better than nothing. hehehehhe... Anyways, i have planned to do something when i'm in S'pore. I actually hope i do go with it and i think i am prepared to do it... What is it u ask? Some may know, most may not. For now we will keep it a hush hush thing till it pops out in late March/early April. =D))

I went for a fish spa also, its about $15 for 30 mins. To me it made not much difference to my feet so i would probably have to go more often. I'm too lazy to post up pictures... heheheh =P After fish spa, i went for CNY house visiting, i only went to Amie's house... just hanged out for a bit and then we went to KTM to eat and then home. But then we went out so that i could pay some bills and to test my driving skills!!! I finally drove down my hill, i have yet to drive up it hehehhe and you know what?!? tomorrow will be my first time on the road without supervision!!! i have mixed feelings about this, and we will see what will happen tomorrow =D)) wish me luck ok! Bubyez!!!

Happy Chinese New Year

Hellew all....Happy Chinese New Year... It has been a long weekend for me and i don't want to go back to work tomorrow ~sigh~. Anywhoos, i went out yesterday... Since the electricity in Gadong was back, my sis and i decided to go round2 there. I also had McDonalds, nothing beats a good double cheese burger, but then, nothing beats that ham and beef burger from Burger King!!!! Ohhhh.... i can't wait to go to Singapore in March... still a very long way to go. Today i did some house visiting, went to my cousin's house. i got a couple of oranges. Actually, i can't wait for the CNY celebration at work, i hope they do have one!!! i want the lion to "clean" my table... =D)) i guess that is it from me today... nothing much seems to be happening. bubyez <33

Happy New Year All.... Here's an update ;D))

Hellew all.... First of all, Happy New Year to everyone.... i've had a very busy 2 weeks starting into the year... Anyways, i went to our staff annual dinner party and it was ok... i did not dress up because it's a one off event and to dress up would mean that i would have to make a costume which i would never use until there is another event like this. I had fun dancing till 11.30++, the music got a lil bit too boring so Siti Nora and i decided to leave... Christmas Open House and the gifts i got =P))) Thanks everyone =D))

Hellew all!!!! I hope you’ve all had a good holiday and long weekend. My holiday was cool… We had a Christmas open house and not many of the people I invited came… to be exact only 7 out of the 50 people I invited came… very sad eh? Well, i guess some of them had errands to run or are away for the very long weekend. Amie made it… she actually found her way with the map I sent =D)). She actually came with Lionel and a new car!!! Hahahah… it was very good to see Lionel again. The only thing that has changed with him is his hair; it has grown quite a bit other than that, he is still very much in love with Amie… awwww… lovebirds <33 style=""> it was quite a pity I forgot to take a picture with them… there is always a next time right? =))This year, I think not much people came… it was quite slow in the afternoon but when it came to around dinner time… people were on a roll… coming in and out. This was when the house was quite busy. I actually hid in my sister’s room to facebook and check on my downloads. Anywhoos… I will be posting up pictures of the Christmas gifts I got so far this year from other people… I’ll post up things I spoiled myself for Christmas this year and also some other activities and events that I will be attending before the year closes for a wrap in another post next week I hope… so enjoy =D))
